You'll be faced with diffrent challenges, codes, cyphertextes and encoded riddles.
We are going to upload a challenge every few weeks or send them directly via e-mail.
There is no timeframe in which the riddle needs to be solved. Once you received it, you can solve it whenever you'd like to.
Barely. The challenges are designed to require logical thinking. Once you have found the key, you'll barely need any additional time to solve the riddles.
Since we know that most students have a lot of due projects by the end of the semester, the last challenge will be uploaded within the 9. semester week.
The winner of our Capture the Flag will be provided with one semester of free beer and other beverages at any STAIR-Event. Other prizes like cool tech stuff will be randomly awarded to the successful participants. On top of that, there will be smaller prizes for the winners of our weekly challenges.
We need your email address in order to award the winners, send some of the challenges directly to you and check your answers on the personalized challenges.
The challenges and the prizes are designed for one person, so we recommend to solve it by yourself.
If you still want to solve the challenges as a team, please enter all of your email addresses in the field, so we can treat you as one person and send you identical challenges
As mentioned, while some challenges are going to be personalized, all of you get the same kind of challenges.
For example: Everyone gets the same kind of crypto-text, but with diffrent key-words.
For some challenges, we are going to upload hints on our social media channels.
